Stories of rescued wild animals who find themselves at the Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre & the humans who fight to give them a second chance.

AN ISLAND OF CHAOS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY

More than 2,000 animals arrive in distress every year at Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This number rivals much larger centres like Calgary and Edmonton, with a fraction of the resources and zero government funding.

No two animals are the same, nothing is routine, and every case is a challenge. Yet no one is ever turned away. Straight-shooting, no-nonsense founder Jan Shadick won’t have it. She never says no, and expects her rag-tag team of volunteers to do the same. To step up and find a way, no matter the obstacles.

STAYING WILD is a two-season docu-series that gets up close and personal as it chronicles Jan and her team’s efforts to save Saskatchewan’s wildlife, one animal at a time.
