Two baby foxes face long enough odds when they arrive after only having spent a couple of days with their mother. But when the young male is diagnosed with an injured leg, his road to survival becomes even more unlikely. 

Putting the leg in a cast isn’t an option for an animal this small, as they grow so quickly. So, the staff at Living Sky has to pull out all the stops to put him on the path to recovery.  

Foxes need strong limbs to ensure they can pounce while hunting and run when trying to evade predators. Jan knows it isn’t fair to this adorable Kit to keep him alive and release him if he won’t be able to make it in the wild. 

But the ethical decision is made even more difficult as the fox’s sister is relying on him for socialization, as he is the only other fox at the centre. Will the team be able to rehabilitate him and get him strong enough that he can be released back into the wild? Find out in season 2 of STAYING WILD.
