A lack of animal residents isn’t a problem Living Sky typically faces. But when an orphaned baby skunk arrives, the staff are worried he may die from loneliness as he is the only one of his breed at the centre.

The adorable Stinky-Winky showed up after getting first trapped in a window well and then found by a family cat. He is irresistible to Jan and her team, but they fear that he will become overly bonded with them if more skunks don’t show up soon.  

Skunks face unique challenges coping in an urban setting as they are often seen as one of the greatest pests. They must learn survival instincts if they are to thrive in a world that doesn’t necessarily want them to be there.
